How To Get Started
If you are passionate about teaching children and have some awesome skills that you'd love to share, we would like to hear from you. We're always looking for instructors to improve our program and meet the needs of the homeschool community.
Email Us:
Send us some information about yourself. Tell us why you love to teach and which areas you have the most experience. Be sure to give us your availability so we can schedule a time to meet in person. Someone should get back to you within 48 hours. MyCurriculumConnections@gmail.com
Class Prep:
It's always a good idea to plan your class ideas out ahead of time. This should include fun titles, the grade levels for which your classes are designed, what you charge and a brief description of the class. Having this information ready for our in-person meeting will help us determine if we're a good fit for one another.
Documents:
All of our instructors must be independent contractors. You will not be an employee of Curriculum Connections. If you plan on accepting vouchers/purchase orders from charter schools you will need the following: A business license, liability insurance, a W-9, an email and a website. We're happy to help you through this process. If you are looking to simply teach to receive free classes for your children or are only accepting funding from independent homeschoolers there will be less requirements which we can go over in-person.
Live Scan:
All instructors must go through the Live Scan Background process - there are no exceptions. This will be one of the last steps before you are approved.
