Service Description
Time and money are part of everyday—and this hands-on class brings both to life! Through interactive games, real-world challenges, creative projects, and teamwork, students will practice essential math skills while learning to read clocks and calendars, manage schedules, plan ahead, budget wisely, save for goals, and make thoughtful financial decisions. Each semester features new adventures and practical life scenarios, such as grocery shopping, saving for a special toy, planning time sensitive activities, giving students fresh opportunities to explore how time and money shape the world around them. The semester concludes with a collaborative planning challenge where students use both budgeting and scheduling skills to design and enjoy their own class celebration. This class is aligned with California Mathematics Standards, including telling and measuring time, working with money, solving real-world word problems, using the four mathematical operations, estimating and measuring quantities, and applying mathematical reasoning to everyday situations. This class is designed to change every semester so that students can take this course for 2 years.

Cancellation Policy
All payments and/or vouchers are due by the first class of the semester. If you need to make special payment arrangements an email request must be sent before the first class and is not considered approved until a confirmation email is sent back. If you need to cancel your enrollment and don't plan on attending any classes during the semester, your $20 registration fee will be reimbursed up to 1-week before the first day of the semester. All unused class fees will be reimbursed up to 24 hours before the first day of the semester, minus the non-returnable portion of your class fees that went toward class materials for your student. If a child needs to drop a class after the semester has begun, we can prorate their class fees up til the end of the third week. No class fees will be returned or prorated after the end of the 3rd week. If you're joining the class late, prorated policies are determined on a case-by-case basis, by each instructor.
