Service Description
An introductory course to all aspects of the Physical Science where students will learn how fun, rewarding, and science can be! Your child will explore chemistry, physics, earth science and astronomy through kinesthetic experiments designed to captivate their curiosity. In each class, your child will learn how to demonstrate a new branch of science using real-world models and prototypes, while also encouraging their imagination and problem-solving skills. Not only are these experiments exciting but give students the foundational knowledge to pursue and understand science in the future. At the end of the semester during our Student Showcase, your child will create a presentation of one of their favorite science experiments, and win prizes based on different categories. This class is designed to grow with your student and can be taken multiple semesters for up to 3 years without repeating an experiment. This class previously taught by Mr. Gideon and is being revamped by Mrs S!!! This class promotes Science State Standards including planning investigations, asking questions about data, talking about models, and developing a successful solution to a design problem.

Cancellation Policy
All payments and/or vouchers are due by the first class of the semester. If you need to make special payment arrangements an email request must be sent before the first class and is not considered approved until a confirmation email is sent back. If you need to cancel your enrollment and don't plan on attending any classes during the semester, your $20 registration fee will be reimbursed up to 1-week before the first day of the semester. All unused class fees will be reimbursed up to 24 hours before the first day of the semester, minus the non-returnable portion of your class fees that went toward class materials for your student. If a child needs to drop a class after the semester has begun, we can prorate their class fees up til the end of the third week. No class fees will be returned or prorated after the end of the 3rd week. If you're joining the class late, prorated policies are determined on a case-by-case basis, by each instructor.
