Service Description
Travel through time as we explore the fascinating world of music from ancient beats to modern rhythms. In this fun and interactive class, students will learn about important composers, musical styles, and instruments from around the world and across history. From the classical genius of Beethoven to the swing of jazz and the roots of rock and roll, students will listen, move, and create as they discover how music has shaped cultures and told stories for centuries. Each week we will be listening to famous pieces from different time periods, learning about composers and cultures, completing fun activities like drawing, rhythm games, and instrument exploration, and doing creative projects like writing your own melody or making a simple instrument. No prior music experience is needed.

Cancellation Policy
All payments and/or vouchers are due by the first class of the semester. If you need to make special payment arrangements an email request must be sent before the first class and is not considered approved until a confirmation email is sent back. If you need to cancel your enrollment and don't plan on attending any classes during the semester, your $20 registration fee will be reimbursed up to 1-week before the first day of the semester. All unused class fees will be reimbursed up to 24 hours before the first day of the semester, minus the non-returnable portion of your class fees that went toward class materials for your student. If a child needs to drop a class after the semester has begun, we can prorate their class fees up til the end of the third week. No class fees will be returned or prorated after the end of the 3rd week. If you're joining the class late, prorated policies are determined on a case-by-case basis, by each instructor.
