Service Description
Fall Semester: This English Writing class designed for students in grades 5-8 to develop and strengthen their writing skills through engaging, age-appropriate activities. The course focuses on fostering creativity, building confidence, and mastering the fundamentals of effective writing. Students will explore various writing styles, including narrative, descriptive, persuasive, and expository writing, while learning essential grammar, structure, and revision techniques. Through interactive exercises, peer feedback, and personalized guidance, students will enhance their ability to express ideas clearly and creatively. Spring Semester: This intermediate-level writing course builds on foundational skills from Part One, where students explored concepts such as the major writing styles (narrative, descriptive, expository, and persuasive). Part Two focuses on deepening craft, refining voice, and mastering advanced techniques to help students become confident, purposeful writers.

Cancellation Policy
All payments and/or vouchers are due by the first class of the semester. If you need to make special payment arrangements an email request must be sent before the first class and is not considered approved until a confirmation email is sent back. If you need to cancel your enrollment and don't plan on attending any classes during the semester, your $20 registration fee will be reimbursed up to 1-week before the first day of the semester. All unused class fees will be reimbursed up to 24 hours before the first day of the semester, minus the non-returnable portion of your class fees that went toward class materials for your student. If a child needs to drop a class after the semester has begun, we can prorate their class fees up til the end of the third week. No class fees will be returned or prorated after the end of the 3rd week. If you're joining the class late, prorated policies are determined on a case-by-case basis, by each instructor.
